A few days ago, I fired up Facebook Live and read the first two chapters of “The Legend of Tanisha Biggers.” (NSFW, profanity, mild violence, chocolate.) I also answered a few questions and also gave a little behind-the-scenes insight into the development of the three stories found in “The Legend of Tanisha Biggers: Deluxe Edition.”
I got a chance to travel with Jarvis Sheffield, founder of Black Science Fiction Society, to the 8th Annual Motor City Black Age of Comics Comvention 2016 held at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
Here are a few bits of video footage from that event.
In this episode of “Coffee Talk with Joey Pinkney,” Joey talks about one thing, and one thing only: his teeth and chocolate. No books, no shout outs, just bragging and pontificating – respectfully, of course. It’s “Coffee Talk.”
In this episode of Coffee Talk with Joey Pinkney, you get a behind the scenes look at his one of his top secret coffee styles. He shares an excerpt on a review of “Children in the City of the Fallen Towers.
He also shares an author experience that highlights friendship, kindness and generosity. There’s a German Chocolate Brownie and coffee. He talks about Emotional Contagion and the “Stay Positive, It’s Positive” movement.
He ends this episode with a writin tip involving plotting things out. It’s all “Coffee Talk.”
In this episode of “Coffee Talk with Joey Pinkney,” Joey gets back into the swing of things after a brief hiatus. He talks about his bride, his upcoming(?) book and beta readers. And chocolate, of course…
New coffee mug. New background (kinda). Same ole Joey. It’s “Coffee Talk.”
While Joey was out running errands, he came across a going-out-of-business sale. He shares his heavily-discounted book purchases. In the laundromat he talks writing, the iPhone 7, headphone jacks and a blue sick.
